My Favorite Drugstore MAKEUP for a Five Minute Face

If you are anything like me and have a busy schedule or very limited time in the morning then a five minute face makeup routine is a game changer for you! I wake for work at 5am every morning and makeup is my last thing on my list. This quick routine helps me to feel better about myself and not break the bank.  Below, I am going to share some super affordable makeup that you can find at almost any drugstore to help you feel a little more put together.

Also, for reference I have dry/combination skin so some of these products may not give you the same result, but you can always play around with different products to give you the look you’re going for without taking up a ton of time. These products are just what work the best for me!

I will be linking the products below! They are not sponsored, they are just to make them more accessible to purchase if you would like to try them out too ๐Ÿ™‚

So, in the morning I start by washing my face and putting on my face lotion. I currently use the CeraVe face cleanser and face lotion. I will link those both here! I love CeraVe products because I have very sensitive skin and they don’t make my skin feel oily. I will let this soak into my face while I do my hair.

Now onto the makeup:

  1. L’oreal Infallible Pro Glow

I love this foundation, and  I have been using it for awhile now. It is my HOLY GRAIL. I  love how it feels and looks on my face. It is a light/ medium coverage so if you’re looking for more full coverage this may not work as well for you.

I apply it with a beauty blender, and it gives you a very smooth and dewy finish. They also have a matte foundation option as well, if you prefer that look. I love the pro-glow because it is oil free and it helps to even out your skin tone to give you that โ€œno makeupโ€ look.  If you would like to try it, I will link it here for you!

  1. ELF 16hr Camo Concealer

This is also a staple in my five minute face routine ,especially if I have any blemishes or need to brighten up my under eyes! (let’s face it I always have bags at 5am haha). This is a great dupe for the tarte shape tape and I love it. It is a little on the heavier side, but it is very hydrating and great for dry skin. It is super easy to apply. I usually use a small brush to apply onto my blemishes and blend them out with my beauty blender. Another bonus is that it is very affordable, I will link it here if you want to try it out for yourself!

  1. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

I have tried a lot of different powders and this is by far my FAVORITE! Since I have combination skin I can get oily in my T Zone, and this powder works really well. It is a pressed powder and doesn’t leave my face looking cakey or dry. They do have a loose powder option as well, so feel free to play around with what product suits your skin the best. This powder is also very affordable and so worth it! I will also link this one here if you would like to try it out for yourself!

  1. Maybelline Lash Sensational

I personally use a few mascaras when I am doing my makeup to get a more dramatic effect, but when I’m doing my five minute face makeup the Maybelline Lash Sensational is my go-to. It gives me volume and doesn’t smudge like other mascaras I’ve tried, and stays on all day. I prefer waterproof ,but they also have a non waterproof option. If you would like to try it out for yourself  I will leave the link here for you!

  1. Maybelline Eyeshadow Quads

I know these are a little old school but I honestly love the colors in these little pallets! They are so pigmented and are very affordable. I love this because they are quick and easy when I am having trouble narrowing down my eyeshadow choices. They also have small stamps on each square for where to put the different shades if you want to follow their steps! These are a quick and easy way to make your eyes look  a little more pulled together while you are in a rush! I will also link this here for you!

  1. NYX Butter Gloss

This is by far my favorite gloss that I have tried, and it just helps pull the whole look together! It comes in a variety of shades so you can switch up your look, and it is very hydrating. My favorite shade is called โ€œAngel Food Cakeโ€ and it is a neutral light pink color. If you want to try this for yourself (and I think you should ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) I will link it here for you!

Once I am finished I top it off with a setting spray I use the brand Skindinavia.  I love the finish that it gives and helps my makeup to stay on all day! It is a little pricey but it is worth it. Elf also has a great option if you’re looking for something more affordable. I will link that here for you as well!

These products help me to feel a little more put together in the mornings before I go to work and I hope they do the same for you, comment down below your go-to makeup products you use and leave a comment if you try these products!

Enjoy! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I haven’t used the ‘pro glow’ version of this foundation! I have dry skin in spots and I found the matte version ‘stuck’ to them. Do you see any of that with the pro glow, or does it break down from the oils in your face at all? I love Loreal so I really want to try this!

    1. Hey girl! I find that if I prime my skin really well I have less dry spots and breakdown on my face. I still have a few dry spots but not as many as I do with other foundations that make my face feel really heavy. I know it works differently for every skin type ๐Ÿ™‚ so your experience may vary a little!
