5 Ingredient Chicken Tortilla Soup

I have tried many tortilla soups and have gathered ideas from them all. I alway tweak my recipe to what I like and I think this is the best combination for me and my family. So I hope you enjoy it too!

This dinner is quick,easy, and inexpensive. It only takes 5 ingredients and it tastes AMAZING! I won’t ramble too much so let’s get to cooking!

You will need:

•2 Cups Shredded Chicken (I use a rotisserie chicken)

•1 32oz Carton Chicken Broth

•1 Dry Ranch Packet

•1 Package of Taco Seasoning

•1 Jar of Your Favorite Salsa

Instructions:

1) Start by shredding your chicken. I buy a rotisserie chicken and shred it, but you can prepare it anyway you like and it will turn out just as good (Sometimes I will cook mine in the Instant pot and shred it).

2) Combine all of your ingredients into a medium or large saucepan and mix and cook on high heat.

3) Bring mixture to a boil, the reduce heat to med/low and simmer for 20 minutes or until heated through.

4) Serve with Cilantro, Shredded Cheese, Sour Cream, Tortilla Chips on top. Customize for whatever toppings you like. It also really good with avocado on top!

Side note: You can definitely add Corn and Black Beans if you like those in your soup! A can of beans or corn are fairly inexpensive as well.

Just drain your corn and add it to the mixture, as well as drain and rinse your black beans if you want to add those to you soup!

This recipe is perfect for fall and is one of my favorite soups to make, it is one pot and easy cleanup!

Can keep in the fridge for up to one week, so enjoy!
